Privacy Policy

Fieldcall: Dannevirke · Policy version 1.0 · Effective 13 August 2026

The Android app and this public support package are built from the same policy source. The app itself runs offline and requests no Internet or dangerous permission.

01Scope and publisher

This Privacy Policy applies to Fieldcall: Dannevirke, an Android application published for DANNEVIRKE HUNT (INCORPORATED). It explains how the installed app operates and what happens to information when a person uses it. It does not govern another organisation's website, event system, venue process, communication channel, or service that a user may choose to access separately.

02App overview

Fieldcall: Dannevirke is an offline field-day prompt book for adult equestrian preparation, shared-space awareness, land stewardship, animal-welfare pauses, and person-to-person hand-offs. The app presents bundled reading and images. It is not an event calendar, registration service, membership portal, route map, navigation tool, incident-report channel, veterinary service, medical service, or emergency communications system.

03Information the app does not collect

The app does not request, collect, receive, infer, transmit, sell, or share a user's name, email address, phone number, postal address, account credentials, precise or approximate location, contacts, calendar, photos, audio, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, payment information, health information, animal records, attendance, event history, or free-text submissions. It contains no registration form, contact form, profile, chat, comment field, incident log, or upload feature.

04On-device operation

All app chapters, images, sources, safety boundaries, About information, and this policy are packaged inside the installed application. Reading a chapter or moving between pages does not send a request to a server. The app does not create a remote user record or synchronise progress. Any temporary interface state exists only in application memory while the app is being used and is not designed as a personal record.

05Permissions

The production app requests no Android Internet permission and no dangerous runtime permission. It does not request location, camera, microphone, storage, media, contacts, calendar, phone, SMS, nearby-device, notification, activity-recognition, biometric, or accessibility access. The operating system may still provide ordinary platform functions needed to display the app, manage its process, and render bundled resources.

06Accounts and authentication

No account is required or available. The app does not offer sign-in, passwords, social login, identity verification, membership validation, or age-document collection. It does not connect app use to a named rider, supporter, horse, hound, household, club member, landholder, or event participant.

07Analytics, advertising and tracking

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, attribution system, behavioural profiling, tracking pixel, telemetry endpoint, personalised recommendation service, or cross-app tracking mechanism. It does not display ads or use activity to build an advertising profile. The publisher therefore does not receive app-usage analytics from this release.

08Sharing, sale and disclosure

Because the app does not collect personal data, it has no app-collected personal data to sell, rent, share, disclose, or transfer to advertisers, data brokers, analytics vendors, social networks, or other organisations. The app does not initiate a data transfer to the publisher. This statement does not control information a user separately gives to an organiser, professional, emergency service, website, app store, device provider, or other third party outside Fieldcall: Dannevirke.

09Retention and deletion

The app does not maintain a publisher database of users or submissions, so there is no app-collected personal record for the publisher to retain or delete. Uninstalling the app removes its installed package and ordinary app-local state in accordance with Android behaviour. Device-level backups and device-to-device transfer are disabled for this application. App-store transaction or device records, if any, are controlled by the relevant platform provider under its own terms.

10Security

The app reduces privacy risk through data minimisation: no account, no remote backend, no in-app data entry, no Internet permission, no tracking SDK, and no personal record. No product can guarantee absolute security of a device. Users should maintain their device, operating system, screen lock, and app-source security. Installing modified copies from untrusted sources may defeat safeguards present in the publisher's signed release.

11Children and family use

Fieldcall: Dannevirke is written for adults and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect information from any person, including a child. It contains no child profile, social interaction, location sharing, camera upload, attendance record, advertising, or purchase prompt. If an adult chooses to discuss a page with a younger person, that activity should remain under the current supervision and safeguarding arrangements of the responsible parent, guardian, organiser, venue, and applicable law.

12Animal-welfare and safety boundaries

The app provides general observation and hand-off prompts, not medical, veterinary, emergency, transport-certification, road-control, tack-fitting, land-access, training, or event-specific instructions. It cannot assess a person, horse, hound, vehicle, route, surface, weather condition, or piece of equipment. When something does not look or feel right, pause when safe, notify the responsible organiser, landholder, competent person, qualified professional, or emergency service as appropriate, and follow their current instructions. Do not use the app to delay help.

13External sources and third parties

The Source Shelf identifies an organisation-context profile from the New Zealand Hunts' Association and public New Zealand animal-welfare and workplace-safety resources for further reading. Those sources are independent of the app, may change after release, and have their own privacy practices and terms. Inclusion is not an endorsement of the app, and the app does not claim adoption, certification, affiliation, or approval by the New Zealand Hunts' Association, the Ministry for Primary Industries, WorkSafe New Zealand, a landholder, a venue, a professional body, or any other source. The app only displays source addresses; consulting one in a separate browser is an independent user action outside Fieldcall: Dannevirke.

14International users

The app is framed around general New Zealand context and English-language source material. A person using it elsewhere remains responsible for the laws, welfare codes, road rules, land-access conditions, venue procedures, professional guidance, and emergency arrangements that apply where they are. The app does not transfer user data between countries because it does not collect or transmit user data.

15User rights and choices

Users can choose whether to install, open, read, update, or uninstall the app. They can use device controls to remove it at any time. Because the publisher does not receive a personal record through the app, requests to access, correct, export, restrict, or erase app-collected personal information will ordinarily have no responsive record. A person may still contact the publisher about this policy using the postal channel below.

16Changes to this policy

The policy may be revised if the app's verified behaviour, legal requirements, or publisher practices change. A material future feature that collects or transmits information would require updated disclosure, app review, and an appropriate policy before release. The current policy version and effective date are shown in the app. Users should review the policy supplied with an update before relying on an older copy.

17Effective date and version

Effective date: 13 August 2026. Policy version: 1.0. App version covered: Fieldcall: Dannevirke 1.0.0. This policy describes the locally audited offline release identified above; it should be checked again against the exact application bundle submitted to an app store.

18Contact

Privacy questions about this app may be sent by post to: DANNEVIRKE HUNT (INCORPORATED), 523 Woburn Road, Rd 1, Waipukurau, 4281, New Zealand.
